About Me

My name is Samuel Mitchell and I am a service-driven, security conscious IT Professional with over 10 years of experience in implementing and managing server and network infrastructure coupled with a few years of  Windows desktop support. I have competent knowledge of Cisco router & switches,  Meraki, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) , VMware & Hyper-V, Active Directory, Windows systems, Fortigate Unified Threat Management System, Storage Area Network, Microsoft Exchange administration, Airwatch Mobile Device Mangement, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and other technologies. I have experience in planning, designing and implementing virtualized infrastructures, site relocation projects and physical-to-virtual projects. I have project management experience in both leading and assisting in accomplishing business goals using technologies.

I am now learning the new emerging technologies such as Software Defined Data center through cloud service providers Azure, Amazon Web Services and other cloud technologies like Microsoft 365.

With all the skills developed and knowledge gained, my goal is to become an experienced ICT Solutions Architect who exceeds business expectations by tackling business challenges through well defined strategies while applying the appropriate technologies.

I have developed this website as a way to share my knowledge with others like myself who are just coming up into the IT field with little or no experience. It also helps me to reinforce my knowledge as a professional because not all knowledge learned are utilized and it is a way to get better at troubleshooting issues not experienced.

I want to have this platform as a way for others to contribute to the information shared and for persons to collaborate on topics that is not known to me for all to benefit.

I hope you find this website informative and when you have benefited, you can return and make your contribution.

Sam.
